Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical fitters are responsible for the servicing and maintenance of generator units. They provide essential support to depot managers and staff with daily workshop and field service activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish effective communication channels with internal and external clients.
  • Coordinate delivery items to ensure timely arrival at relevant sites or stores.
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.
  • Respond promptly to after-hours enquiries and resolve issues or escalate them as necessary.
  • Understand and follow organizational systems effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of new policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Identify areas for improvement and communicate them to management as required.
  • Perform repairs and services on generators at premises and client sites to meet standards.
  • Complete modifications to generators to meet quality expectations.
  • Diagnose and resolve generator-related issues and problems.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Company Health & Safety System, policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Provide accurate information while managing costs effectively.
