About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to join our multidisciplinary team as a mental health professional, providing recovery focused clinical services to individuals experiencing mental illness, distress, and risk issues.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with consumers, their families, and carers, to provide assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison, and review services. You will also be required to conduct mental health assessments, and provide evidence-based interventions using a collaborative, strengths-based approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based interventions, including psychotherapy, medication management, and case management
  • Collaborate with consumers, families, and carers to coordinate care and support
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals and services to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, nursing, social work)
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional association
  • Proven experience in mental health practice, with a focus on recovery-focused care
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with consumers, families, and carers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
