Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Support Engineer to join our team full time, working onsite in Sydney.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Migrating workloads to ensure seamless operations
  • Collaborating with infrastructure architects, application and database teams on project design
  • Backup and restore of systems, application distribution, and data responsibility on servers
  • Analysing and processing user issues and requests
  • Providing solutions to technical requests and problems
  • Ensuring end-to-end connectivity, auditing, and device information for devices
  • Troubleshooting connectivity on network devices, firewalls, servers, switches, routers, storage, copper, fibre, power, and all infrastructure devices in the data centre
  • Documentation, physical equipment auditing, managing IT records and asset management, and maintaining inventory of work tools, equipment, and devices
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor degree in IT (preferred)
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • P-Series experience
  • Experience working on enterprise-sized clients' critical services
  • Relevant migration experience
  • Excellent communication skills
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 per year, taking into account the cost of living in Sydney and industry standards.
