Job Overview

Due to continued growth and success, this renowned company is currently seeking an experienced Production Manager for their Food Production facility in Sydney's southwest region.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing effective working practices and preparing production schedules that ensure compliance to all relevant policies. Additionally, they will administer all work according to quality and food safety principles, recommend strategies to improve processes, and minimize material wastage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the efficient operation of the production team and optimize factory productivity
  • Develop and implement production schedules that meet customer demands and company targets
  • Ensure adherence to quality and food safety standards, implementing corrective actions as necessary
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, materials, and equipment expenses
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair of equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency
  • Collaborate with purchasing teams to source high-quality raw materials and supplies
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG or related industries
  • Proven track record of managing small to medium-sized production teams
  • Familiarity with HACCP protocols and implementation
  • Able to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
  • Physically fit, able to lift up to 25kgs
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary: AU$63,000 per annum + 43% superannuation
  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
