About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Production Team Lead to join our client, an industry leader in Chinese food manufacturing and FMCG industries. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for supervising a small team of production workers and ensuring the effective working of the production facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of 3 production workers and prepare effective production schedules to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Administer all work according to quality and food safety principles, recommending strategies to improve processes and reduce waste.
  • Maximize efficiency of the factory and minimize material wastage by monitoring bill of materials per production batch.
  • Manage process staff schedule and leaves administratively, ensuring no impact on production.
  • Ensure compliance with local policies to achieve production objectives and provide feedback to employees.
  • Analyse staffing requirements and ensure efficient compliance with production schedules and budget for all production processes.
  • Identify issues within the team and provide continuous support to members according to operating standards.
  • Ensure completion of plant SOPs and production forms, maintaining compliance with product specifications.
  • Mitigate process and product deviations in operations.
  • Conduct team meetings to inform about factory performance, section, and company updates.
  • Develop a culture of respect, care, and professionalism.
  • Maintain effective relations with company employees at various levels of organization.
  • Control and monitor risks to health and safety in accordance with company processes and schedules.

Requirements:

  • You must be able to speak Mandarin/Cantonese.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a food production environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with meat and poultry handling in a food manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to follow directions and work safely in a fast-paced line environment.
  • Experience with food production machines and troubleshooting.
