Road Incident Response Specialist
Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Road Incident Response Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our response unit, you will be responsible for providing first response services to traffic incidents on major roads and highways.

  • You will work in a fast-paced environment, responding to a range of incidents including breakdowns, accidents, and other road-related issues.
  • Your duties will include operating a range of vehicles, such as 4WD utilities, attenuator trucks, and tow trucks, to assist with civil maintenance support and road network restoration.
  • You will also provide critical incident management and conflict resolution, working towards the safety of your team, road users, and other related parties.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A valid motorcycle and MR drivers' licence with zero court cancellations or suspensions.
  • Extensive experience in motorcycle operations, ideally with at least 5 years of incident management experience.
  • A Construction White Card.
  • The ability to work day and night shifts, including morning (05h00 – 13h00) and afternoon shifts (13h00 – 21h00).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with level-headedness and calmness under pressure.
