Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Classroom Teacher to join our team at Albury Public School. As a Classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging and differentiated literacy and numeracy programs to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to implement whole-school improvement initiatives and promote a positive school culture.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Develop and coordinate whole-school extra-curricular programs to enrich student opportunities.
  • Implement policies and strategies to cater for a diverse learning community, including students with disabilities, Aboriginal students, and EAL/D students.

Requirements

  • Approval to teach infants and primary (K - 6)
  • Proven ability to use evidence-informed practices to deliver high-quality education.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Commitment to enriching opportunities for students through extra-curricular programs.
  • Ability to implement policies and strategies to cater for a diverse learning community.
