Furniture Making Opportunities

This apprenticeship provides hands-on experience in designing, building, and installing custom cabinetry and furniture. You will learn how to use various tools and materials to create unique, high-quality pieces that meet clients' needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Cabinet Construction: Construct and install custom cabinets and joinery through factory-based and on-site projects.
  • Woodworking Skills: Mark, cut, and shape wood using saws, chisels, and power tools.
  • Joint Preparation: Trim and glue joints for a seamless finish.
  • Design Analysis: Examine designs, drawings, and parts to determine specifications.
  • Material Cutting: Cut and shape pieces of wood to precise dimensions.
  • Furniture Assembly: Fitting hinges, drawers, and shelves for smooth operation.
  • Installation and Delivery: Deliver and install completed products to site.
Requirements:
  • Eligibility: Eligibility to complete an apprenticeship.
  • Interest in Woodwork: Genuine interest in working with wood.
  • Presentation and Attitude: Well-presented, enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual.
  • Motivation: Motivated with a positive attitude.
