**Trade Assistant for furniture making with opportunity to start an Apprenticeship.**

Comax manufactures high-end custom-made furniture. Our factory includes an upholstery, woodworking, metalworking and polishing.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trade Assistant to join our fast-paced manufacturing company in Kelvin Grove with the opportunity to do a Apprenticeship for the successful applicant. We pay for training of apprenticeships.

Special consideration for someone with experience in timberwork

**Trade Assistant roles involves**:

- Furniture Making
- Sanding timber
- Using hand tools
- Basic wood machining
- Assembling furniture frames
- Upholstery
- Assisting our craftsman as required
- General labouring

**To be considered for the position**:
**- Physically fit - Able to lift heavy materials/furniture. Deal breaker**
- Punctual & Reliable
- Good communication skills
- Take initiative within the role
- Flexible with duties
- Passionate about hands on work
- Positive can-do-attitude
- Interest in furniture
- Must have current Manual Drivers Licence

**Must have Australian Residency**

**Previous experience in factory/labouring/construction is highly regarded.**

**Salary**: $27.00 per hour
