Job Title:

Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and at least 12 months of experience working in a QC role in the food manufacturing industry or laboratory.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop best practices to ensure all aspects of quality are implemented and controlled in the production area.
  • Conduct calibration checks as needed.
  • Participate in daily sensory panels.
  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to making QC processes more efficient.
  • Raise quality non-conformance for out of specification finished goods and raw materials.

Requirements:

  • Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering degree.
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a QC role in the food manufacturing industry or laboratory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.
  • Tech savvy.
  • HACCP and GMP knowledge.
  • Basic SAP knowledge highly regarded.
  • Quality Control knowledge from a food manufacturing industry highly regarded.
