Parts Coordinator Role
We are seeking a skilled and organized Parts Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory of spare parts, ordering new stock as needed, and ensuring that all required parts are available for use in the workshop.
The successful applicant will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and a strong attention to detail. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to effectively liaise with colleagues and suppliers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Inventory management: Ensure that the correct levels of stock are maintained at all times.
- Ordering and receiving: Place orders for new stock and ensure that it is received and stored correctly.
- Part identification and allocation: Identify the parts required for each job and allocate them accordingly.
- Liaising with suppliers: Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate prices and delivery terms.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or in a related field such as automotive repair or maintenance.
- Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a relevant field an asset.
- Certifications: Forklift operator certification desirable.
