Seeking an experienced professional to lead financial analysis and modelling, ensuring strategic decision-making and compliance with regulatory requirements.
This role involves delivering long-term forecasting, treasury analysis, and corporate financial planning to support organisational sustainability and business planning.
The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex financial information for diverse audiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Corporate Financial Planning
- Financial Modelling and Analysis
- Treasury Management and Reporting
- Credit Rating and Regulatory Compliance
- Process Improvement and Stakeholder Engagement
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in financial modelling and long-term forecasting
- Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Substantial understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working in a regulated utility or government environment
- Experience in treasury management and debt analysis
- Experience in project-based businesses with large capital infrastructure
Essential Skills: Leadership, strategic thinking, financial analysis, treasury management, regulatory compliance, communication, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, team leadership.
Skills Advantage: CPA/CA designation, experience in State-Owned Corporations, knowledge of NSW Treasury policies and guidelines.
