Job Overview

The Commercial Finance Analyst role involves working closely with a team to provide comprehensive support across various financial functions. This includes developing weekly cash flow forecasts, coordinating site-specific accounting processes, and preparing monthly reporting packs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop weekly cash flow forecasts and identify areas for improvement based on current forecast accuracy.
  • Coordinate site-specific accounting functions within defined timeframes.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly reporting packs for the wire business.
  • Facilitate the annual budgeting process through consolidation of quantitative and qualitative information.
  • Support the collection, analysis, and presentation of market data to inform product decisions as needed.
  • Analyze key cost drivers to identify performance improvement opportunities and initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and SAP is an added advantage.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills.
