Job Title: Senior Architectural Drafter

We are seeking an experienced architectural drafter to join our team in a key role within the company. As a senior member of the drafting team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality construction drawings and ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ArchiCAD and excellent documentation skills. You should also possess solid knowledge of Australian Standards and building codes, as well as excellent communication and coordination skills.

About The Role:
  • To contribute to the design and documentation of current and upcoming residential developments
  • Coordinate with consultants and external drafting teams to support efficient project delivery
  • Prepare accurate and detailed construction documentation for residential projects

You will be working closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and compliant. If you have experience in low-rise residential, townhouse, or project home drafting and a passion for delivering high-quality results, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
  • Producing construction drawings for buildings using ArchiCAD
  • Revising drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers & Construction team
  • Ensuring drawings comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations
  • Coordinating with other disciplines such as civil and structural engineers, planners etc. for integrated designs
  • Assisting Architects in the design development and documentation phases
  • Preparing conceptual sketches and 3D models to communicate design ideas
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in low-rise residential, townhouse, or project home drafting
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD with strong documentation skills
  • Solid understanding of Australian Standards and building codes
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality, compliant documentation
