Project Lead for Tailings and Geotechnical Infrastructure

Job Summary:

As a seasoned engineer with leadership aspirations and technical expertise, you will lead high-impact projects alongside the Regional Manager, collaborating on diverse international initiatives.

This role offers a unique blend of challenge and autonomy, where you will oversee team performance, provide guidance to remote construction teams, and contribute to strategic client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead global project delivery, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional quality and risk assessment.
  • Mentor junior engineers, guiding them through project delivery, resourcing, and workload management.
  • Oversee team performance, providing strategic direction and contributing to business growth.
Technical Expertise:
  • Design and review tailings dams, heap leach pads, and geotechnical infrastructure, ensuring exceptional quality and risk assessment.
  • Conduct investigations, testing, design, and risk assessments, producing comprehensive technical deliverables.
  • Represent the company at client meetings and industry events, fostering strong relationships with local and international clients.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Civil or Geotechnical Engineer (or eligible) with significant experience in tailings, dams, or mine infrastructure.
  • Strong technical grounding and leadership potential, with a passion for innovation and growth.
  • Open to international candidates with relevant experience, willing to relocate to Australia and motivated by career development opportunities.
