Job Overview

The role of Head of Quality – Product Innovation, Lifecycle involves implementing product quality strategies to ensure high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory standards.

This position oversees the entire product lifecycle, from conception and development through each stage of the product's life.

Leadership and management skills are essential in this role, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement product quality strategic plans
  • Lead and mentor the Product Innovation, Lifecycle team
  • Oversee development, implementation, and enforcement of robust processes and standards
  • Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Quality Assurance, Product Development, and Group Operations

Requirements

  • Formal tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering, Lifesciences, or Biosciences
  • At least five years of experience in people management within Quality
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in driving high performance and an agile culture
  • In-depth knowledge of Health Authority Organisations and TGA guidelines
  • Experience with product quality management systems, risk management, and industry standards in complementary medicine, pharmaceuticals, consumer healthcare, or food manufacturing
