Job Role:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a customs brokerage facility with bonded warehouses.

This role requires exceptional leadership skills, excellent communication and organisational abilities, and the capacity to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff and manage workload distribution
  • Manage rosters and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Take responsibility for warehouse management related to quarantine and customs clearance
  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including accurate scanning and labeling of goods
  • Manage inbound and outbound freight, ensuring timely deliveries
  • Lead the unloading of freight from various transport carriers and sea freight containers
  • Perform forklift operations with a valid current forklift license
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment in line with health and safety standards
  • Act as a liaison between senior managers and warehouse staff

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current Forklift License (Essential)
  • Strong warehouse and operational experience
  • S77G Depot experience (Desirable)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of customs and quarantine regulations
  • Excellent leadership and delegation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Flexibility to work on weekends on occasion (on a shift rotation)
