Curriculum Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced Curriculum Leader to develop and implement curriculum and assessment products and services.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams of writers and assessors. They will be responsible for leading quality assurance processes, revising and redeveloping curriculum products, and providing expert advice to stakeholders.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with senior officers to ensure alignment with organisational directions, policies, and procedures. You will also provide timely and high-quality support to schools, teachers, and other key stakeholders.

To succeed in this position, you will need to demonstrate strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and communication skills. You will also need to build enduring relationships with stakeholders and promote integrity in the management and use of processes and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams of writers and assessors to develop and implement curriculum and assessment products and services.
  • Lead quality assurance processes for school-devised assessments and school judgments.
  • Develop and mark external assessments.
  • Revise and redevelop curriculum products and resources.
  • Provide expert advice to Learning Area Managers and Assistant Directors on issues related to senior curriculum and assessment.
  • Create and maintain professional relationships between the QCAA and key stakeholders.
  • Lead forums, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities.
