Robotics Professor Opportunity

Job Overview: We are seeking an accomplished academic to lead our robotics and mechatronic engineering programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and research, particularly in the discipline of robotics/mechatronic engineering.

Key responsibilities include course coordination, higher degree by research supervision, service roles, and engagement with industry partners.

The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in research networks within and beyond the University, building and running an effective research program in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities for this position include both academic level B and C duties. For Academic Level B, key responsibilities include teaching and learning, research, supervision and researcher development, citizenship and service, and additional duties for senior lecturers. For Academic Level C, key responsibilities include providing academic leadership in research training and supervision, initiating and coordinating strategic collaborative research projects, acting as a chief investigator in grant applications, producing high-quality research outputs, contributing to the enhancement of academic programs, and supporting the School and broader community.
