About the Role

Our Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished leader to join our Planning team and spearhead the preparation and coordination of work packages for field delivery teams.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of planners, driving high standards of work readiness, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Lead and develop a team of planners located across multiple depots.
  • Oversee job scoping, outage management, and materials ordering.
  • Ensure work packages meet quality standards.
  • Promote smart work packaging strategies to optimise resources and customer outcomes.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex planning issues or customer interface challenges.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Field Leaders, to ensure seamless transition from planning to execution.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience in electrical networks, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in work planning and order management within the electricity supply industry.
  • A sound understanding of construction, maintenance, scheduling, and network operations.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, GIS tools, and other work management systems.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and build team capability.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management skills.
