The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a territory in Queensland, developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients in the mining, heavy industry, and hazardous material markets
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities
- Work with internal product managers to create bespoke solutions for clients
- Meet and report to senior management regarding sales performance
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong network of mining, industrial, and hazardous material companies. You will also have a good understanding of respiratory safety products and PPE. Additionally, you will have the ability to deal with C-Level decision makers and mine site management.
Requirements
- History of selling into mining companies
- Knowledge of respiratory safety products or PPE
- Ability to deal with C-Level decision makers and mine site management
- Self-motivated and persistent approach to business
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Full and valid driver's license
