Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at a purpose-built school for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic teacher to make a positive impact on the lives of students with ASD.

The successful candidate will have experience working with students with ASD and hold a current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.

This role involves developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with ASD, working collaboratively with the education support team to ensure students receive individualised support, maintaining accurate records and reporting student progress to parents and caregivers, and participating in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
