As a leader in the payment industry, we're always looking for talented individuals to join our team. Our Operations Engineer role is a crucial part of this journey, focusing on supporting Wpay Digital payments, online applications, and microservices.

The successful candidate will work across multiple technology stacks to investigate issues and drive them to resolution. They'll collaborate with various teams within the group to ensure incident resolution, review and analyze logs, and identify trends to improve our services.

  • Investigate and resolve incidents assigned to the team, working closely with the Operations Manager and following ITIL principles.
  • Resolve high-priority and impacting incidents within SLAs, including after-hours on-call rotations.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Owners, BAs, Situation Management, and Engineering squads to manage stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
  • Support after-hours escalations and high-priority incidents, as required.


What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrable experience in deep diving into complex issues across a wide range of technologies.
  • Familiarity with logging tools and dashboard creation, including Splunk and Dynatrace.
  • Experience with Akamai, DNS, Firewalls, load balancers, and networking technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, Kubernetes, GCP) and REST APIs/Microservices.
