CBGU JV is a partnership between CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella, and UGL, delivering the Tunnels and Stations package for Brisbane's Cross River Rail. This 10.2-kilometre rail line includes 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD, featuring four new high-capacity underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street, and Roma Street.

Our Team, Your Career.

This role reports to the Site Manager and sits within one of our project delivery teams based at an inner Brisbane site. You will be responsible for coordinating direct workforce and subcontractor teams to achieve quality and safety objectives in accordance with the project programme and schedule. We are seeking previous experience in a Supervisor or Foreman capacity on large civil or infrastructure projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively coordinate and supervise the utilisation of on-site resources.
  • Monitor construction progress and compliance to safety and environmental standards.
  • Ensure all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of work.
  • Forward plan daily/weekly/monthly construction work, including resource requirements and trade coordination.
  • Ensure all workers are inducted onto site before commencing work.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Trade qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Electrical.
  • Experience in delivering large-scale civil projects in a Supervisor or Foreman capacity.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to apply principles of construction to deliver works in accordance with project requirements.
  • Demonstrated personal commitment to safety requirements and expectations.
