Credit Portfolio Manager Position

This is a senior associate position in credit portfolio management.
We are seeking an individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work in an innovative environment.

The role involves managing institutional banking and markets portfolios from both a risk and return on capital perspective.
Potential transactions include:
- Secondary loan sales and purchases
- Risk participations
- Credit insurance and cds hedges
- Structured transactions
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, economics or finance preferred but not essential
- An inquisitive mindset and ability to pick things up quickly
- Open approach to working on a variety of transactions that could be unstructured
- Experience in coverage, loan product, credit risk or credit portfolio management roles
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills
- Good analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
- On the job knowledge of institutional lending, risk management, capital management and/or derivative products
