Teaching Opportunity at Matrix Education

We are seeking a qualified HSC English Teacher to join our team at our Hurstville or Parramatta campus.

This casual teaching position offers stability and the opportunity to work with a fun, talented, and hardworking team in a great work environment.

Minimal lesson preparation is required as lessons and resources are provided for you.

Our classes run on weekday afternoons and on weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the academic term
  • Ongoing monitoring of students' academic progress through marking weekly essay submissions
  • Flagging of struggling students to academic team leaders for additional academic mentoring

Requirements:

  • Possess a genuine passion for teaching
  • Previous experience teaching secondary English in a classroom setting
  • Extensive knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in stage 4, 5, and 6 English
  • Completed degree in Education, Arts, Philosophy, or a related discipline
  • Postgraduate studies in the above-listed disciplines will be highly regarded
