Program Leadership OpportunityJob Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in the co-design and delivery of programs of work across various research areas.

You will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of program lifecycle, including developing and reviewing processes within assigned resource allocations and reporting requirements. Your oversight will extend to program governance with co-investment partners, as well as the identification and management of interactions between programs of work.

Additionally, you will maintain, implement, and review the operations of programs, including day-to-day management of program team members. You will also develop and implement innovative solutions to problems and provide specialist advice to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading, managing, and being accountable for all aspects of program lifecycle;
  • Oversight of program governance with co-investment partners;
  • Identification and management of interaction between programs of work;
  • Maintenance, implementation, and review of program operations;
  • Development and implementation of innovative solutions;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess demonstrated planning and organisational skills, coupled with experience in designing and delivering large programs with multiple stakeholders and projects. You should have a strong understanding of research and development process, including the complexities involved in supporting research. Additionally, you should have specialist knowledge in related disciplines, such as agriculture, natural capital, and environment or an area of national digital research infrastructure.
