About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking dedicated Nursing professionals with aged care experience to work full-time, part-time, or casually. Successful applicants must be available to work various shifts, including days and nights. These positions are based in Newcastle, Singleton, Tamworth, Moree, and Grafton.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nursing professional, you will be accountable to the Registered Nurse for the resident care areas within the centre. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the day-to-day individual care needs of residents are met and maintained, under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse. Additionally, you will participate in continuous quality improvement activities and ongoing education programs to ensure that all aspects of resident care align with the organisation's mission, vision, and principles.

Requirements
  • Certificate III / IV in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
  • Current Criminal Record Check
  • Proven experience working in Aged Care
  • Highly developed customer service and communication skills
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • A caring and empathetic approach
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals within set timeframes
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team
  • Capacity to initiate innovative solutions
  • Current vaccinations required for healthcare work, including COVID-19
