Job Title: IT Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, deploying and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert support and troubleshooting across server, platform and infrastructure systems.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance, availability and security.
  • Implement and manage physical and virtual servers, storage solutions and networking components.
  • Design, deploy and optimize Microsoft Azure services.
  • Ensure compliance with change and patch management policies.
  • Provide detailed technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support infrastructure projects.
  • Participate in the on-call roster to provide rapid response and resolution for critical incidents.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role and 2+ years working with Microsoft Azure.
  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualisation and infrastructure automation.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, networking fundamentals, backup utilities and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Relevant certifications or equivalent experience.
  • Organised and detail-oriented with a methodical approach to systems management and documentation.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to minimising service disruptions.
  • Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
