About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Mortgage Support Specialist. This is a customer-facing role that involves working closely with mortgage holders to understand their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, experience in the banking industry, and a proven track record of delivering results in a retail sales environment. Additionally, they should possess a solid understanding of core products and processes within the wealth and personal banking sector.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support customers with needs-based solutions
  • Provide Broker support
  • Retain customer relationships through identifying and resolving issues
  • Pricing requests, discharge inquiries, referrals to Wealth, Private Bank, Premier channels, variations, and contributing to the value of new borrowing

Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills with ability to deliver results
  • Experience working in banking/financial services industry
  • Previous experience in a Retail Banking Sales role preferred but not essential
  • Understanding of core products, Premier proposition, and familiar with retail and wealth product processes
  • Understanding of Relationship management systems
  • Solid knowledge of appropriate branch operational procedures
