Job Title: Mortgage Support Specialist

Mortgage Support Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the mortgage cycle. As a key member of our mortgage broking business, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining a tracking process, monitoring the database, and allocating follow-up tasks to other team members.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of recent mortgage admin experience with a financial institution or a licensed mortgage broker, as well as a certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking. They will also possess strong written and verbal communication skills, high level influencing skills, and excellent time management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tracking Process Management: Prepare and maintain a tracking process (database) that includes creating a unique loan identifier number, monitoring the database, and allocating follow-up tasks to other team members.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage cycle.
  • Lending Team Coordination: Maintain regular and timely contact with lending teams at all levels of the loan processing stages from credit assessors to the funding teams.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of recent mortgage admin experience with a financial institution or a licensed mortgage broker.
  • A certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level influencing skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
