ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is a permanent full-time role involving rotating shifts of 12 hours, both day and night, located at our coal processing facility.

As a key member of the production team, you will report directly to the Team Leader Production. Your primary focus will be on enhancing performance, executing maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting issues within the coal preparation facility to align with operational goals. Adherence to health, safety, environment, and community (HSEC) standards is essential, along with conducting regular audits and addressing any non-compliance.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting inspections and monitoring the coal preparation processes.
  • Diagnosing and resolving operational issues.
  • Utilizing the SAP system for ordering spare parts and equipment.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in a process or manufacturing plant setting.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining safe working conditions.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and fault diagnosis.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar maintenance management systems.

Required qualifications include:

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter).
  • Valid Forklift Licence.
