Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to lead our residential construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing site operations, managing personnel, and ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective project delivery.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor site supervisors across multiple sites, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Develop and implement project schedules and construction programs, driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor build progress, WHS compliance, and quality assurance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve delays or site challenges, ensuring project goals are met.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on project performance, KPIs, and risks, informing strategic decision-making.
  • Work closely with estimating, contracts administration, and procurement teams to drive project success.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in managing residential and/or commercial construction projects, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and support site teams, driving high-performing cultures.
  • Advanced planning, scheduling, and project management capabilities, with expertise in construction software.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and WHS obligations, ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • A solutions-focused approach to construction delivery, with excellent communication and reporting skills.
