Financial Accountant Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to provide financial leadership and support to the finance team. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial part in supporting daily accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and managing assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounts receivable, manage accounts payable, collaborate with teams to maintain asset control procedures, and perform reconciliations.
  • Handle month-end processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of financial and management accounting experience.
  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • Experience in software development, SaaS, or related industries.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bonus points for knowledge of sports and gambling, cryptocurrency expertise, and experience with Blackline, Zapier, Prismatic, Trevor, SoftLedger/Netsuite.
