Business Support Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Support Officer to join our team at YMCA Brisbane. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Business Development Manager, including formatting and designing tender templates, researching schools, and generating technical writing.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop successful tender offers and maintain high-quality content and design.
- Support event planning and attendance at key marketing events for partner schools and their communities.
- Coordinate and plan content, including testimonials, photography, videos, and articles on digital platforms.
- Oversee content design and development, playing an active role in editing and authoring experiences across a range of digital mediums.
- Experienced in marketing material development and design in digital and hard copy formats.
- Sound experience in an administration or similar type of role in a medium to large organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- High level of oral and written communication and possessing a high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimum direction and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- The ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize.
- Ability to self-motivate and work autonomously.
- Initiative and be solutions-focused with good time management skills.
- Sound knowledge of computer systems, including an ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of programs with particular focus on formatting word documents.
- Professionally presented.
- Currently possess, or be willing to obtain, a positive notice Blue Card in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000.
- Achievement of YMCA's Safeguarding Children Training Certificate and complete annual refresher training.
