The Role

We are seeking a skilled Community Engagement Specialist to join our team at Belgravia Leisure. In this role, you will be responsible for building meaningful relationships with community members and groups to enhance social capital and foster participation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with key community members and groups to identify and develop programs that improve accessibility and meet community needs.
  • Collaborating with coordinators and stakeholders to develop programs that address identified needs and emerging issues.
  • Fostering relationships with communities, council, and stakeholders to strengthen our social outreach and meet community needs.
  • Collecting information and data to evaluate and report the impact of community programs.
  • Identifying opportunities to ensure established programs are sustainable and self-sufficient.
  • Reporting on the actions and outcomes of implemented programs, highlighting the benefits to the community.
  • Ensuring compliance with annual business plans and partner contracts.
  • Developing a fundraising strategy for the Belgravia Foundation to promote access to leisure.
