We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lecturer to join our team at La Trobe University. As a Senior Lecturer, you will have the opportunity to lead the development of innovative curricula, deliver high-quality learning experiences, and contribute to the scholarly advancement of teaching practices in health information management and digital health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Develop and deliver engaging curriculum through face-to-face, online, and blended learning methods.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor and lead fellow academics in curriculum design and teaching.
  • Student Supervision: Supervise Honours and Master's students, while supporting their intellectual and professional growth.
  • Research and Scholarship: Conduct and lead innovative and high-impact research, publish research papers, present at conferences, and represent the university at external events.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: PhD or equivalent in digital health, health information systems, or a related field.
  • Expertise: Expertise in health information systems and at least one of the other health information management knowledge domains: health informatics, health data analysis, or clinical classification.
  • Teaching and Leadership Experience: Proven excellence in teaching and curriculum development, with demonstrated leadership in online and traditional learning environments.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse student population.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Research Publication Record: Strong research publication record with national or international impact.
  • Research Funding Experience: Experience in securing research funding from competitive grants or contracts.
  • Leadership Experience: Leadership experience in managing research projects or teams.
