Job Title: Sustainability Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to design and prototype new environmentally sustainable products for specified applications. The successful candidate will have a strong background in science or engineering, with expertise in cellulose and paper packaging.
- Product Development: Create innovative cellulose-based products that meet customer needs and contribute to environmental sustainability.
- Tech Advancement: Develop technologies to improve product quality and reduce costs.
- Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with developments in the field and identify opportunities for new technology development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree: An advanced degree in science or engineering is required.
- Prior Experience: Prior experience and knowledge of cellulose and paper packaging are preferred.
- Skills: Familiarity with polymer science and processing technologies, as well as demonstrated past innovative research and accomplishments.
Benefits: Conduct all activities with a focus on maintaining and improving a safe work environment. Work effectively in a cross-functional atmosphere to provide support and technical leadership for strategic projects.
Essential Capabilities: Must be able to learn new areas of technology to contribute to the successful completion of projects. Demonstrated ability to prioritize development work and assess feasibility. Knowledge and use of statistical computer tools such as Minitab and Excel functions are desired.
