We're seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to elevate our customers' dining experience. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll work independently to manage the kitchen and staff.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • AQF Associate certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma/Advance Diploma, or higher-level qualification
  • At least two years of relevant experience in industry in similar position
  • Australian Citizenship, Permanent residency, or valid working rights in Australia

Key Responsibilities:

Chef Leadership
  • Oversee kitchen operations and coordinate cooks
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety
Menu Planning and Development
  • Design menus that meet customer expectations
  • Plan menus, develop recipes, and ensure uniform serving sizes and quality
Culinary Expertise and Quality Control
  • Possess extensive knowledge of Asian, especially Indian food recipes with plating styles, ambience, and presentation
  • Familiarity with tandoor cooking methods and curries as per menu
  • Comfortable adjusting food to taste, diet, etc.
Inventory Management and Logistics
  • Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies
