- ADP Knowledge: Utilize ADP systems effectively; prior experience with ADP is advantageous.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all payroll activities, maintaining discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Legislative Knowledge: Stay updated with Fair Work Act (FWA) and Australian Taxation Office (ATO) relevant legislation.
- Statutory Payments: Manage end-of-month statutory payments, including Payroll Tax and Superannuation.
- Team Collaboration: Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating initiative.
- Query Resolution: Assist in reviewing and answering payroll queries promptly and accurately.
- Reconciliations: Conduct payroll and end-of-year reconciliations, including Annual Leave, Long Service Leave, and Sick Leave reconciliations.
- Timekeeping: Ensure accurate timekeeping, costing, and adjustment of hours and rates.
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing within Australia.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian Payroll tax and legislative requirements.
- Familiarity with ADP systems is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Effective communication skills and strong record-keeping and organizational abilities.
- Ability to comply with relevant legislation and regulations (e.g., Superannuation guarantee, ATO, National Employment Standards, STP reporting).
