Tax Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Tax Specialist to join our team.

About the Job
  • Prepare and review tax returns to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimise financial performance.
  • Manage GST and BAS submissions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide expert advice on tax-related matters to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to maintain accurate records.
  • Support audits and liaise with external tax advisors as required.
Key Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Proven experience in tax compliance and planning within the retail industry or a similar sector.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws, including GST and BAS reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
