Food Service Coordinator

The Food Service Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring seamless food preparation and service delivery.

  • Maintain a clean and organized environment throughout the kitchen area.
  • Operate dishwashing machinery to wash and sanitize crockery and kitchen implements.
  • Maintain food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators, ensuring everything is properly stored.
  • Assist with receiving and storing goods.
  • Facilitate reporting workplace hazards to relevant personnel.
  • Support the chef and kitchen team in food preparation, including cutting, peeling, and washing ingredients.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
  • Utilize safety equipment as directed or required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and collaborating with the kitchen team and other team members.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attitude and 'can do' mindset.
  • Follow instructions and take initiative when necessary.
  • Meet physical demands of standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
  • Able to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Must possess valid working rights for Australia.
