Primary Music Teacher Position

We are seeking an exceptional educator to join our team as a Primary Music Teacher.

This is a permanent part-time position at our school in Western Australia, where the successful candidate will establish a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role
  • As a Primary Music Teacher, you will be responsible for providing engaging arts experiences that foster key learner qualities such as persistence, creativity, critical thinking, self-reflection, collaboration, and effective communication.
  • You will be an active member of our Professional Learning Community, working collaboratively with colleagues to use data to inform practices and focus on continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • To provide music lessons that cater to diverse student needs and abilities.
  • To develop and implement music curricula that align with the Australian curriculum framework.
  • To assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • A Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification in Music Education.
  • A valid teacher registration in Western Australia.
  • An Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
