We are currently seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Industrial Relations Expert. This exciting opportunity is open to individuals who possess a strong passion for labour relations and wish to contribute their expertise to our organization.

The role offers a unique chance to lead and support our industrial relations agenda, providing expert advice on awards, enterprise agreements, and employment legislation. You will thrive on providing strategic guidance, driving proactive compliance, and ensuring organisational readiness in response to evolving legislation and employment practices.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing expert advice on awards, enterprise agreements, and employment legislation to ensure organisational compliance.
  • Supporting complex case management, including grievances and change processes.
  • Leading IR policy development and prevention strategies, including sexual harassment compliance.
  • Assisting in enterprise bargaining processes and building strong relationships with unions.
  • Overseeing employment contract governance and contributing to legal review processes.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Industrial Relations, HR or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in IR or employment relations in a complex or regulated industry.
  • Experience working with HR/payroll systems to ensure system-based compliance.
  • Strong capability in policy leadership, contract review, and cross-functional collaboration.
