About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Senior Nurse Leader at our Wyndham Lodge facility. This is a full-time Maximum-Term contract, requiring reliable candidates available for Morning shifts from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive clinical care to consumers, ensuring their dignity, respect, comfort, and quality of life are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership to care staff, fostering a team-based and consumer-focused environment.
- Ensure all staff work within their scope of practice and maintain Baptcare standards of care, professionalism, and customer focus.
- Maintain clear communication, respecting individual privacy and dignity.
- Safely manage medications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and effectively communicate these initiatives.
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience in Aged Care or working with the elderly.
- Proficient in computer literacy (Microsoft Word & basic Excel).
- Able to meet the inherent requirements of the role.
