Optimize Building Performance

The position of Facilities Manager requires a proactive and achievement-oriented individual to manage building operations, maintenance, and tenant relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, fire, and security systems.
  • Monitor and analyze property data (Energy, Water, and Waste) to optimize performance.
  • Develop and maintain standard documentation procedures for asset management.
  • Procure and tender contractors for planned preventative maintenance contracts and various projects.
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies as required.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in managing multi-story commercial assets and their systems.
  • Strong knowledge of building services, including fire safety and building management systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A flexible team player with practical problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literacy with the ability to adapt to new technologies.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

  • Implement all relevant national, state, and local legislative requirements related to health and safety.
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits.
  • Participate in account, site, and client committees/meetings as required.
  • Ensure statutory inspections and testing are completed for the sites.
  • Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations.
