Technology Asset Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Asset Coordinator to join our IT Product Delivery team. As the Technology Asset Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing technology assets, licenses and agreements, driving operational excellence and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operational activities of IT software asset management function.
  • Perform optimization and efficiency activities focused on fiscal outcomes in Technology Assets.
  • Proactively maintain the Technology Asset management platform and identify opportunities for optimization focused on cost savings.
  • Coordinate and conduct software licensing reviews upon renewal/annual payment of each software contract.
  • Build, maintain and manage relationships with client stakeholders together with the relevant University stakeholders to strive for optimum customer experience related to Technology Asset management.
  • Stay current on the latest developments in the industry and strive to continually improve customer satisfaction and reduce software compliance liability.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in technology asset management.
  • Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or ITAM certification.
  • Prior experience working with Technology Asset Management Systems in a large and complex organization.
  • Knowledge of software licensing requirements.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
