About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landholder Relations Advisor to join our team at Powerlink. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing targeted, best-practice engagement support to land access matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain local awareness and knowledge on emerging landholder issues to inform business activities
  • Engage with landholders to collect land-related input for corridor planning, environmental and land-related approvals, construction and maintenance processes
  • Contribute to and manage planning and scheduling activities for property access needs
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Environmental Advisors, Cultural Heritage Officers, Communications Specialists, and other industry professionals
  • Work in construction teams to deliver new infrastructure on privately owned land
  • Manage Powerlink's construction contractors to meet business and landholder commitments and expectations

About Powerlink

CopperString 2032 is the largest economic development project in North Queensland, and one of the largest expansions to the power grid in Australia. The CopperString project will build 840 kilometres of transmission line from just south of Townsville in the Burdekin region to Mount Isa with the highest voltage levels in the state.
