Chef Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled chef to prepare and cook all dishes for our menu.

  • Culinary Expertise and Presentation: Develop expertise in assigned menu specialty, efficiently preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes while contributing to recipe development and menu planning.
  • Food Safety and Stock Management: Ensure food is stored correctly with good stock rotation, maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, and monitor stock levels to assist with ordering supplies and minimise waste.
  • Training and Team Collaboration: Manage and train junior chefs, sharing knowledge to enhance team performance and collaborate with executive and head chef for smooth kitchen operations.
  • Adaptability and Time Management: Manage time effectively, work quickly under pressure, and remain open to taking on new tasks or adapting to different roles to support overall kitchen functionality.

About the Job: We require a highly skilled and motivated chef who can maintain the highest standards of food quality and hygiene. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking all dishes for our menu, including developing recipes and menus.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years' experience as a chef in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality food unsupervised.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene guidelines.
  • Able to lead a team and motivate others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
