Key Roles and Responsibilities

Accounting Functions

  • Oversee all accounting functions, including AP/AR, payroll, monthly close, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and compliance with tax requirements.
  • Coordinate quarterly and year-end reviews with external partners.
  • Develop forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes to support leadership decision-making.

HR and Administrative Support

  • Manage recruiting, onboarding, and HR compliance for operational departments.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations.
  • Partner with managers to maintain proper staffing levels and organizational efficiency.
  • Lead a team of administrative staff (currently 3 full-time, 1 part-time direct, and 4 indirect reports).
  • Establish systems for accuracy, accountability, and continuous process improvement.

IT and Systems Support

  • Serve as primary liaison to IT partners for ERP and security systems.
  • Enhance systems for tracking, data capture, and process automation across finance, HR, and operations.

Leadership and General Management

  • Provide proactive communication to managers regarding incomplete or inaccurate information.
  • Support operations and sales teams with administrative and financial needs.
  • Uphold and model company values, including technical excellence, service, accountability, and results-driven leadership.


Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, including leadership responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Experience overseeing HR and administrative functions is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage, train, and develop teams.
  • Proficiency with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Benefits and Compensation
  • Salary: $125,000 – $165,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Bonus: Quarterly performance-based bonus potential.
